Tourist and Economic promotion of Slovenia and Slovakia in London
On the 24th of April 2017 the Embassies of the Republics of Slovenia and Slovakia in London together with the Information Office of Slovenian Tourist Board in London organized the joint tourist and economic promotion at the National Liberal Club in central London titled "Distinguish Slovenia and Slovakia".

The event was aimed at promoting tourism and wine, trade and investment opportunities of both countries. It was attended by the representatives of British political, trade, tourism and diplomatic communities and press.
The gathered were first welcomed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in London H.E. Tadej Rupel and Ambassador of Slovakia H.E. Ľubomír Rehák. This was followed by the presentation of Slovenian tourism by Mladen Ljubišić, the Head of London Information Office of Slovenian Tourist Board, and Economic Advisers Darja Slokar from Slovenian Embassy and Dominika Bartošová from Slovakian Embassy who presented trade environment and investment opportunists of both countries.
Guests also had an opportunity to view the section of the exhibition titled Slovene-Slovak Dimension compiled by Slovenian Embassy in Bratislava and Slovakian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs to mark the Slovak presidency of the EU in the second half of 2016 and last year's 25th Anniversary of Slovenian Independence. The exhibition represents the cultural and historical similarities and differences of both countries.
